The LEGO X-Wing Fighter, newest addition to LEGOLAND in California and the world's largest LEGO sculpture, was first revealed in Times Square on May 22, 2013. Geiger Engineers designed the winch drive system, the tracks, and the base pads for evenly distributing the loads from the four legs of the 43,000 lb X-Wing Fighter to prevent damaging the Times Square infrastructure. Geiger also handled the applications for the Work and After Hours Permits from the NYC Dept. of Buildings.
