Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome Roof Replacement

Minnneapolis, Minnesota — 2011
The seven acre air-supported membrane roof on the Metrodome, home of the Minnesota Vikings, was replaced with new teflon-coated fiberglass panels. This large re-roofing project was completed ahead of schedule, in less than five months. As the Engineer of Record for the project, Geiger Engineers designed the fabric roof panels and provided field supervision of their installation and erection. Historical note - Geiger Berger Associates engineered the original long-span roof, built in 1982.
