We are excited to introduce two of our newest team members.
From their educational journeys to their career goals,
learn what inspires them and what they are most excited to contribute at Geiger Engineers.
We're excited to welcome Xuanjie (Jax) Fan to Geiger Engineers.
A graduate of Syracuse University, Jax first learned about Geiger Engineers at a university career fair and was surprised to discover that the firm served as the structural engineer for the JMA Wireless Dome, one of Syracuse's most recognizable landmarks.
Since joining Geiger, Jax has enjoyed learning from experienced engineers and contributing to a variety of projects. He values the collaborative and welcoming environment and is excited to continue developing his skills in structural engineering.
"My first few months at Geiger have been exciting. People are kind and welcoming, and learning from professional engineers has made my days fulfilling."
As a Syracuse student, Jax walked past the JMA Wireless Dome countless times without realizing the level of engineering and coordination behind the structure. Today, he's excited to be part of the team connected to one of the campus's most iconic projects and hopes to one day contribute to work at the Dome himself.
Outside of work, Jax enjoys watching movies, exploring great food, and spending time with friends. He recently tried skiing for the first time and is looking forward to hitting the slopes again.
Please join us in welcoming Jax to the team!
We're excited to welcome Manus McCracken to Geiger Engineers.
Manus earned a B.S.E. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Princeton University in 2023 and recently completed his Master of Architecture at Princeton School of Architecture in 2026. His background in both engineering and architecture brings a unique perspective to the team.
In his first few months with Geiger, Manus has already contributed to a wide variety of projects across the United States and Canada.
"With my background in architecture and engineering, I love the opportunity to design. I've enjoyed working on a huge range of projects and have been made to feel like an important collaborator within the team."
As he continues building his experience, Manus looks forward to honing his skills, expanding his knowledge, and working toward professional licensure.
Outside of work, Manus enjoys making art, exploration, and watching sports. He also hopes to get involved in coaching as he settles into New York.
Please join us in welcoming Manus to the team!
