    Public Buildings:
    • Whatcom County Courthouse Addition, Bellingham, WA. A new six-story concrete structure wrapped partially around an existing concrete building. The project required dynamic analysis for seismic design.
    • City of Bellingham Downtown Parkade, Bellingham, WA. An addition of a new fifth level to an existing parking structure. Project included special seismic considerations.
    • Bellingham City Hall, Bellingham, WA. Remodel of a three-story concrete building, with an addition of elevator tower and complete seismic analysis.
    Renovations & Seismic Rehabilitation:
    • Western Washington University, Buchanan Towers, Bellingham, WA. Dynamic analysis and feasibility study for seismic strengthening of an eight-story dormitory building.
    • Lincoln Square Apartments, Bellingham, WA. Seismic analysis and design of repairs to weak foundations of an eight-story reinforced concrete building.
    • Western Washington University Fairhaven College, Bellingham, WA. Analysis and design for improvements to complex of two-story reinforced concrete buildings.
    • Oakland Block Apartments, Bellingham, WA. Renovation of three-story pre-1900 brick masonry apartment building.
    • DIS Building Seismic Bracing, Bellingham, WA. Seismic upgrade on a two-story unreinforced masonry building, plus basement.
    • Western Washington University Humanities Building, Bellingham, WA. Examined decayed exposed wood columns, and investigated immediate safety hazard and design repairs.
    Industrial/Commercial:
    • Barkley Office Building, Bellingham, WA. Four-story, 72,000-sq. ft. office building of steel frame construction. Seismic design is based on an eccentric-braced frame core.
    • NW Medical Office Building, Burlington, WA. A new 90,000-sq. ft., three-story office building, with a moment-resisting steel frame.
    • Tilt-up Structures, Bellingham, WA. Three additions (20,000-sq. ft. to 36,000-sq. ft.) to a manufacturing and warehouse complex.
    • Food Co-Op Wall, Bellingham, WA. Participated in development of unique design for a 20-ft. high cantilever retaining wall.
